Body Procedures

Arm Lift

Commonly referred to as: Brachioplasty

Overview: Loose upper arm skin is most often related to weight loss. If you were ever overweight, you more than likely developed heavy upper arms. To accommodate the increased volume of the upper arms, your skin stretched. After weight loss, skin often fails to tighten, and so it sags. The only way to improve this problem is through an arm lift, also called brachioplasty.

Scar Revision

Scars may be formed for many different reasons, including as a result of infections, surgery, injuries, or inflammation of tissue. Scars may appear anywhere on the body, and the composition of a scar may vary - appearing flat, lumpy, sunken, colored, painful, or itchy. The final look of a scar depends of many factors, including the skin type and location on the body, the direction of the wound, the type of injury, age of the person with the scar, and his/her nutritional status.

A scar revision is a procedure performed on a scar to alter the appearance of the scar. The revision may improve the appearance of the scar or restore function to a part of the body that may have been restricted by the scar. It is important to remember that scars cannot be completely removed.

Facial Procedures

Cheek Augmentation

Commonly referred to as: Cheek Implants

Overview: Cheek implants add body and contour to cheeks that lack definition. Individuals with weak cheek structure, a narrow or flat face, or who have lost cheek contour due to the effects of age can benefit from the aesthetic enhancement that cheek augmentation can provide. The simplicity of cheek surgery and the relatively low cost of cheek implants make them an especially attractive cosmetic solution.

Chin Augmentation

Commonly referred to as: Cosmetic Chin Surgery

Overview: Cosmetic chin surgery adds proportion to the chin and provides balance to other facial features. A weak chin makes the neck appear fleshy. It accentuates the size of a normal nose and makes a large nose seem especially big. Chin enlargement through chin implant surgery brings the facial features into harmony and balances the overall facial structure. Alternatively, when an especially prominent chin makes the nose or other facial features appear too small for the face, chin reduction surgery can provide a balanced look. Aesthetic chin surgery offers an effective solution for refining facial definition and contour.

Nose Surgery

Thread Lift

Commonly referred to as: Thread Facelift

Overview: A thread facelift is a convenient, less invasive alternative to traditional facelifts, designed for people experiencing early signs of aging, such as minor facial sagging. This innovative facelift procedure can be performed in just one or two hours, often without anesthesia. During a thread facelift, the cosmetic surgeon inserts thin threads into the face through tiny incisions made in the targeted area. These threads attach to the skin tissue and are then pulled back to lift and smooth the face. Almost immediately, treated areas will be raised slightly, eliminating sagging and giving patients a rejuvenated appearance. Because patients usually remain fully conscious during the procedure, they can approve the look of their thread lift while the surgeon works. Once the threads are knotted, they become hidden within the skin itself, and any scarring that results will be virtually invisible.
